As a passionate educator I love teaching and making things easy to understand! All of my success can be attributed to this one desire: to help others understand. I started doing seminars early in my career so that I could teach broadly what I was teaching one-on-one. Then I decided to write a book so that more people could get the education — I never set out to become an author, that just “happened”, in fact, when I was first called an author I didn’t realise the person was talking about me!’

When I find out something new I can’t wait to share it with somebody (just ask my staff!). I have had people comment “Why have you been involved in so many different industries?” My answer is my zest for knowledge and the desire to share it with others. And while most people know me for my investing and finance works — my biggest passion of all is building businesses. I LOVE business. I love to create something from nothing. I also enjoy taking a failing business and make it boom. This to me is so much fun and is so rewarding because it helps a lot of people. Everyone associated with that business is helped in some fashion—the employees, creditors and clients all benefit when a business succeeds.
